Yaron Kestenbaum

Managing Partner

Yaron Kestenbaum is the founding and managing partner of IIF as well as serving as a director and advisor to our portfolio companies. He is a renowned infrastructure expert in both the private and government sectors – having held senior positions in some of the largest infrastructure assets in Israel.

Yaron previously served as Director of the Division for Public Private Partnership Projects in Israel’s Ministry of Finance, where he led the negotiations for a number of key projects including the Jerusalem Light Rail, the Carmel Tunnels, and the Trans-Israel Highway. In parallel, he was a member of several Inter-Ministerial Tender Committees and Managing Authorities for PPP projects.

Yaron also served as Business Development Manager for Housing and Construction Group, the largest publicly traded construction & holding company in Israel, responsible for sourcing and initiating construction projects throughout Europe and Israel.

Yaron is the author of guidelines for identifying and structuring appropriate projects for implementation by the private sector, as well as the white paper “Cross-Sectional Issues in BOT/PFI Projects: Problems, Alternatives and Recommendations.”

Yaron holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University, Israel and a BA in Business Management & Economics.
